  • Intermediates who like the feel of a longboard but want to progress to more manoeuvrability.
  • Kids looking for a great beginners board
  • An experienced surfer who just wants something fun to catch a lot of small waves on

 

Longboard

Who for: Beginners to Advanced

  • Beginners who want the most stable board to learn on and catch the most waves on.
  • Advanced surfers who want the fun of catching lots of waves with ease and the challenge of advanced longboard surfing
  • Heavy or “less fit” surfers who want to catch waves with ease
  • Anyone can have fun on a longboard!

 

Softboards

Who for: Beginners only

  • Kids wanting something safe to learn on
  • Beginners who only expect to have a few surfs every now and then.
  • Not for someone serious about learning fast and progressing quicker
  • Have rubber fins so don’t turn effectively and in some countries (eg Australia) can be ridden between surf-life saving flags where fibreglass boards are prohibited.

 

Fish Surfboards

Who for: Beginner to Advanced

  • Advanced surfers who want speed and fun in small waves
  • Beginners who want something other than a mini-mal to learn on
  • Beginners looking to progress off a mini-mal
  • Intermediate or advanced surfers who are heavier or want something easier to paddle but still have the ability perform well.

 

Big Wave Gun

  • Designed to have the paddle power to get into big waves and handle the speed
  • Generally longer with narrower tails to handle the speed of big waves
